Story
Hi All,
I am participating in the 2025 Tour De Brisbane for a third year. This year I’m increasing my challenge from 80km to 120km to raise funds for The Common Good, an initiative of the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation.
Why am I doing this? A close colleague’s father was admitted to ICU less than 5 years ago with Giant Cell myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle). Due to the rapid decline in his health, he was moved to the top of the transplant list and received a heart transplant within a week. Against all odds, he’s now living a full life four years post-transplant!
Your donation—no matter the size—will help fund groundbreaking research in heart and lung disease, mental health, ageing, and hospital care. Just $48 can sponsor an hour of medical research, contributing to discoveries that can save lives.
Thank you for supporting my efforts with a donation, 100% of funds raised go directly into research and hospital care.
Your donations will be a massive motivator as we tackle Mount Coot-tha! 🚴♂️
